Master of Accounting Business Administration
For over thirty years, the Chaminade University School of Business and Communication has been a leader in the Master of Accounting Business Administration. The program prepares students to enter the workforce or to excel in their current positions with the knowledge of conducting business; managing people, projects, and systems; and how to apply these skills to the community and organizations. The Master of Accounting Business Administration degree program will prepare students for the Certified Public Accountant examination and certification in the state of Hawaii. The degree program offers flexibility in courses offered to accommodate those who have already entered the workforce. Successful completion of the Master of Accounting Business Administration degree program can be completed in 18 to 21 months when students take a minimum of two courses each 10 week quarter. The program is flexible that students can take a minimum of one class or three classes each quarter.

University of Hawaii at Manoa
Shidler College of Business
The University of Hawaii at Manoa was founded in 1907 as a public research university. The University is located in the eastern section of the Manoa Valley and offers 84 master degree programs in 19 schools and colleges. The University of Hawaii at Manoa is ranked in the top 30 by the National Science Foundation for federal research funding. The Shidler College of Business was founded and established in 1949 with the University of Hawaii. The school is named after Jay Shidler of The Shidler Group, who is an alumnus and successful and wealthy commercial real estate developer. In 2013, The Shidler College of Business was ranked in the top 25% of the best business schools in the nation by U.S. News and World Report.
Master of Accounting
The Master of Accounting degree program offered at the Shidler College of Business prepares students with educational advancements in auditing, financial accounting, and taxation. The degree consists of 30 credit hours, or 10 classes, which are instructed in the evenings during the week to accommodate students who are currently working or who are participants in the internship program. The Master of Accounting Business Administration degree program at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Shidler College of Business will prepare students for the Certified Public Accountant examination and certification in the state of Hawaii. Prospective students who wish to enter into the Master of Accounting degree program who have not completed an undergraduate accounting degree must complete 15 required courses prior to applying. The Master of Accounting degree program at the Shidler College of Business at the University of Hawaii at Manoa will prepare students for the Certified Public Accountant examination and certification in the state of Hawaii.
